things that were not good about my day
1. forgot olive oil for lunchtime baby greens salad. realized same after salting and incorporating the juice of one ("1") slice of an organic lemon which means it was too late to go out and buy some olive oil at some skanky, expensive "gourmet" deli where the bottles of olive oil are dusty and bear strange brand names that are typically sold at auction with no expiration date
2. web blocking software was repaired at my place of employment making access to web mail impossible. rumour has it one has to only backspace after seeing the "too bad suckah" page. i googled "circumventing web blocking software" and found an interesting solution that was not beyond my technical abilities, but my better judgment informed both my higher and lower selves that abiding by the law at a law firm was in my highest good.
3. left menstrual supplies at home, necessitating the purchase of additional, when the whole point of buying super mega size o.b. menstruals was to not have to buy them on the fly.
4. my big fat obnoxious fiancee has concluded. i will miss "steve".
