little known things about me
1. sometimes, i drink instant coffee.
2. my favorite television show is on sundays at eight ("8") pm and is called "american dreams." i love this show and think about it all week long. i was very upset when the militants overturned helen's voter registration table and think nathan should have been fired long ago. jj's injury will open psychic doors for him, making dad pay more attention to meg's blossoming career as aspiring producer on bandstand.
3. i sometimes like american cheese omelettes.
4. vanilla is my favorite ice cream flavor.
5. i am shy.
6. when people around me "vision" and want to perform before an audience of millions, travel the world, do all kinds of colorful things, my single thought is i just want to be happy.
7. although i devote more time to spiritual pursuits than many, i can't find god no matter what i do or how hard i try.
8. i was complicit in the theft of a bottle of company gin by a subordinate, for whom i mixed gin and tonics at her place of residence, even though i am many years sober and have no business doing such things - but it was riotously funny. honest - i won't do that again.

two events
1. i was prevented from eating my dinner of baby greens, olive oil, lemon, sea salt and sliced, herb roasted chicken breast by accidentally witnessing a young, handsome man eat a cow's eye on "fear factor" and saw, specifically, liquids squirt out of his mouth after the initial crunch. i nearly heaved and struggled for almost two hours to bypass my nauseous feelings.
2. while cleaning out my turtle's tank, i placed him in a small saucer-like dish beneath the sun-equivalent lamp so i could remove the rocks and things and rinse. when i returned, the turtle had vanished. this was scary because of the cats. he was found beneath the cabinet in which my china lives. he seems ok.
